Fun with Photoshop! Changing Backdrops with AI and other Tools!

On this fun class we will be finding out how easy it is to get realistic changes of backdrops for portraits. We will also look at altering pictures by object selection and deleting, as well as looking at the more traditional tools for selecting objects. You will need a laptop or desktop with the latest version of Photoshop even a trial version installed and enough space and speed on your computer to avoid disappointment.

Learn about the basics of photography - f stops and depth of field, shutter speed, ISO as well as the design elements that make up a great photo. No matter what your level - this is a great opportunity for you to learn about or revisit the magic that makes photography so inspiring! Bring a lens that is 50mm or longer and a data card that has a lot of space, as you will be shooting a lot and learning how easy it is to create satisfying images! NOTE: we will be looking at understanding your camera's settings to achieve what we want, so do state your camera model when signing up!

Take in the Spring breeze on a sultry Sunday. and take advantage of the new daylight hours for those long shadows and warm tones. Discover offerings from the sea and from people remodelled by the sea and lighting. This should be a fun stroll and practice of The Joy of Photography. A macro lens is an advantage, as is a wide - normal but bring what you have the main thing is to have fun creating images with other keen amateurs and learn something along the way.
PORTRAITURE SERIES 1 - NATURAL LIGHT

This class is your time to learn and gain a proper understanding of Composition and the importance of light to help boost your photography skills. Other meetups will be to practice using external portable flash combined with daylight and studio flashWe, as a class, will be photographing a model without any on-camera flash or strobe photography. Just the available light, we will walk through, troubleshoot, make adjustments and capture a portrait successfully.Bring whatever lenses you have as we will be practising composition with whatever lenses you like to use.We will also learn how to use light modifiers like a reflector to help capture appropriately exposed shots in not-so-great lightingThis class is your time to learn and gain a proper understanding of Composition and the importance of light to help boost your photography skills. Photoshop for Beginners!

This class will give you confidence at doing the basics of opening a file, using a few not all basic tools and saving in different formats and sizes.You will need a laptop with good RAM processing speed and enough space. You will need a trial version or paid version of photoshop installed - if you have questions about this you can contact Alex ahead of the class. Also advisable is to have a smartphone with internet sharinghot point capability. If you have images installed on your laptop that is fine, you don't need the internet. See you there!
